Eve Radio has potentially been scamming the eve player base for a long while now.
The real life cash donations that they ask for live on air on a monthly basis to be made to the website is arguably not representative of the true cost of the station being able to continue to broadcast.
Despite being active in numerous games, Eve Radio fails to openly declare that they are part of a wider gaming network and do not necessarily rely on the real life cash donations they endeavour to get from the eve community, nor is it as i am led to believe, representative of the tue cost of keeping them on air.
If this were to be true. Where does the excess cash go and into whose wallet?
Scams in Eve you say?
This one potentially involves real life cash.
I was provided with good enough internet radio cross comparison cost information to consider making this allegation.
Outwith a response from Eve Radio it can't be discounted.
I assume if everything is above board then Eve Radio can and would be willing to provide evidence of why they ask the amount of real life cash they do from eve players on a monthly basis to remain on air?
If Eve Radio aren't willing to disclose this breakdown then outwith a legal context which can't be brought here, i'd urge you stop donating until they do - elsewise for all you know you are being scammed. |

Eve Radio ask for donations to keep them on air.
Surely the community has a right to see a breakdown or audit or our real life cash that they tell us is needed on a monthly basis?
No? |

I have asked Eve Radio to give a breakdown of the real life cash amount they ask for to keep the station on air on a monthly basis.
If there is nothing to hide then transparency to appease these requests shouldn't be difficult.
All i have suggested is absent audit, things might not be quite as they seem. |

If Eve Radio are not scamming real life cash then at there end it will be easy to prove of course.
I am only basing off information I have been provided.
Surely an entity who CCP affiliate themselves with via the time codes should have to validate the amount of real life cash they ask for from eve players on a monthly basis to continue doing what they do? |

Short of giving to known charity organizations, donating to internet people, regardless of what they say they are going to use it for is like giving that obvious junky on the street corner your change for "a meal." Good luck auditing that guy to find out where the money you gave him went. EULA applies here not donating to Oxfam. If my allegation is correct as the evidence provided to me stands true, then an entity affilaited with CCP is making false pretence to endeavour to make real like cash profit. Have reason to suggest individuals within Eve Radio are falsefying monthly station donation requirements for their own personal financial gratification. |

As my original post hinted, eve radio are asking the eve community for way more real life cash on a monthly basis than they need to keep the station on air given other interests...
Not sure of the EULA implications of this.
Where does this real life cash go?
Clarification from Eve Radio would be good but until then i would urge you not to donate |

Its kind of like voting for Democrats....
What we have here is deception involving real life money.
Donations to keep an internet radio station keep afloat yes, sure.
Asking for more than is required and skimming the cream for personal profit irl, is also know as scamming. |

If they can't do that then case in veritas, outwith sentiment for the good job the DJ's do, questions can always be asked as to where donation cash is going.
It was on good authority i made these allegations. Eve Radio are welcome to retort.
Until they clarify, all i'm, suggesting is don't donate. |

There is a high probability that if you donate real cash to eve radio somedies bank balance increases absent the operatation costs of keeping the station on air.
Don't believe me?
Scams in Eve far fetched?
Donate real life cash to eve radio today

Don't believe me? Scams in Eve far fetched? Donate real life cash to eve radio today "high probability"? Based on what, precisely? What information do you have that suggests this? Why do you take the amount "Eve Radio" say they need in rl cash to say on air on a monthly basis?
Kind of naive one might suggest absent audit, no ? |

I have said Eve Radio ask for more real life cash than they need each month to keep broadcasting.
Where does that cash go?
If you don't believe me then keep supporting a scam.
All i suggested was Eve Radio provide audit as to the breakdown.
But, hey, i'm certain using in game media to swindle people out of real life cash isn't against't the EULA tho, oh, wait?

Just out of curiosity..do you have any "actual" evidence of any of this? I mean so far you've just said "i have it on good authority" or "my claim is substantiated". I mean you haven't specified what your "good authority is, or what exactly substantiates a single word of this stuff. I mean if you wanted to come across as even remotely credible, provide us with some charts..or a graph..pie chart..maybe just some pie..now i'm hungry But seriously:
- How much do they ask for a month exactly? You've stated you know several times.
- How much does it cost them a month to run their station precisely? Or, how much does it cost to run an average operation of comparable caliber?
- Preemptively, why are you avoiding these basic questions and changing the subject like you are about to?
- Are you in any way affiliated with Tinfoil CorpGäó? I think you may be attempting to scam us to increase sales of tinfoil. I have evidence substantiating this, and it is very authoritative.
If i am wrong and they are not skimming the cream then feel assured and continue to donate. |

Are Eve Radio saying they need x amount of real life cash donations per month any different from somebody who says in game if you send 100m you'll get 200m back? |

I have mused that Eve Radio as an entity is deceiving the community.
What you do as a result of the information provided here is your own perogative.

I do donate, but to an animal care and they do have audit published annually. I've heard on good authority that the cream milked from donations helps pay a few rl bills.
I have made no direct allegations however.
Ignore my advice and keep donating if you so please. |

If you apply the principles of what people say in this game about things being too good to be true then the same applies to Eve Radio surely?.
If Eve Radio says it needs x amount of rl cash a month then absent any form of proof you should believe them rite?.
But hey, i'll quintuple your isk in game, honest, just sayin'
